The dark elements intertwine in this painting, screaming and tearing before us the pages of a somber tale narrating the Syrian suffering that occurred in prisons. Women stripped of freedom, raped, and in pain, carrying within their wombs children who do not know their fathers. Stories of injustice and stolen innocence. It is an invitation to reflect on the depth of this human tragedy.
